Stellaluna Circle looks forward to hosting many open events in the future.  We anticipate announcing not only open teaching, classes, workshops, and rituals, but also social activities and peer mentoring.  Keep checking back with us for updates and upcoming events!

Currently, Stellaluna Circle hosts four open sabbats a year: Ostara, Litha, Mabon and Yule.  In addition to our women's retreat, we hope to provide a great place for women in Southern Illinois to gather and celebrate the Goddess.

Litha - Midsummer 2009

Sunday, June 21 at 5:00 p.m.

The longest day of the year is a great time to celebrate all the glory of Summer, including the future harvests.  Join us in our ritual and celebration of the Sun Goddess Shapash as her power and dominion help us flourish.

We will meet at our High Priestess' house on Sunday, June 21 at 5:00 p.m.  From there we will caravan to a gorgeous outdoor location for our ritual celebration.  There will be a potluck feast after the ritual, and we suggest bringing picnic items for the potluck as we will be in an outdoor location with no access to electricity.

For more information or directions, contact us at our email address: stellalunacircle@gmail.com for more information.

Mabon, 2009

We will gather together to count the blessings of the season and share in the bounty of the harvest.  Our Mabon feast will be a gathering of friends, food, and fun as we circle together to evoke the spirit of the cornucopia.   Our diversity of membership guarantees dishes with meat and dishes suitable for vegans.  We look forward to celebrating the harvest with you!  Time and place TBA, contact us at stellalunacircle@gmail.com for more information.

 Yule, 2009

The shortest night of the year provides the perfect time for contemplating the darkness of the past year as well as the coming return of the light as the days slowly lengthen.  Join in our celebration of the darkest night of the year.  Time and place TBA, contact us at stellalunacircle@gmail.com for more information.

 Ostara 2010

Balance and the coming of spring are hallmarks of Ostara.  Join us as we partake in the joys of Ostara - coloring eggs, sacrificing marshmallow peeps, and feasting galore!  Time and place TBA, contact us at stellalunacircle@gmail.com for more information.
